The company - uniquly inspired! Bill Hutcheson in Kilt

Hutcheson Whisky Events was established in May 2004 primarily to inform and promote malt whisky. The company was started as a hobby and developed into a commercial entity to provide a focused platform for taking malt whisky properly into the South of England.

During 2005 work focused on developing a new venture, specialist retail of malt whisky to add onto the existing Event products. This is specialist whisky retail at tasting venues, fairs and via the Internet. In 2008 this was expanded further by opening our whisky shop in Alton, Hampshire incorporating a dedicated tasting room.

The focus of the whisky retail business is on quality malt whiskies, independent bottlers and other niche whisky products. In addition a thriving Whisky Club has been established with over 60 members offering attractive incentives and unique tasting opportunities for an annual subscription.

Hutcheson's Whisky Shop currenlty has nearly 400 constantly changing whiskies listed. These include whiskies from Japan, Ireland, America, India, New Zealand, Sweden and Scotland.
This company is not aiming to have the biggest list of whiskies, only the best whiskies!
