Cigars & Whisky!

From the end of February 2010 Hutcheson's Whisky Shop will be stocking hand rolled cuban cigars. This will be for a trial period only to ascertain demand and will be limited to 4 or 5 brands only, so if you like your cigars then let us know!. Click here for further details.

English Whisky?

English whisky is now a reality. Three years aged in oak casks it can now be called malt whisky and a very fine spirit it is. Last year I visited The St. Georges Distillery in Norfolk and was impressed at the care and attention to detail employed to make this a true and authentic malt whisky.

The quality of the 'new spirit' is rich and fine, and once matured will offer a fantastic whisky.

We will be stocking St Georges malt whisky at Hutcheson's Whisky Shop in Feburary/March 2010. The available stock will be very limited os it's 1st come - 1st served!.

The King's Ginger Liqueur

Hutcheson's Whisky Shop is pleased to announce new stocks of the deliciously rich liqueur Kings Ginger. Originally commissioned by Berry Bros & Rudd in 1903 for King Edward VII, the liqueur was felt to be the ideal tonic for those drafty rides in his new Daimler horseless carriage!

The Whisky Show - London Guildhall 6th & 7th November 2009

Attending the first 'Whisky Show' was always going to be a bit of a gamble, especially with the tickets being quite expensive. However as it turned out every penny was justified. What a fantastic event for a passionate whisky lover!.

Exceptional whiskies dating back to 1957, the highest quality masterclasses and a two course meal - highly recommended for next year, NOT TO BE MISSED!

02/10/09 - World Exclusive! - Compass Box used a tasting held at Hutcheson's Whisky Shop on Friday 2nd October 2009 to launch their latest limited edition whisky - 'Lady Luck'. This was the first outing for this unique whisky having just been bottled the day before and is already very limited. Hutcheson's Whisky Shop will only be getting this in stock on a pre-order basis. The guide price, yet be confirmed, is £120 per bottle.

20/02/09 - Bruichladdich's x4 Distillation spirit NOW IN STOCK

As used in the BBC show "Drinking around Britain", this spirit (bottled at 50%abv) is the same used to fuel this sports car taking it from 0-60mph in just 3.5 seconds
